If you have clothes, there’s no way around it: you have to iron at some point. Why not invest in a durable, built-to-last ironing board that will help you get the job done? The Rowenta Precision Ironing Board is a good option for those on the market for this household essential. Both right-handed and left-handed people can use this symmetrical and ergonomically designed model. A steel mesh surface beneath the cotton cover and thick felt pad resists rust and promotes heat flow. The adjustable legs, also constructed from steel, adjust to thirty-nine inches and allow for ironing while standing or sitting and come complete with non-slip grips for the floor.
The Rowenta Ironing Board also features a heat-resistant resting spot specifically for the iron away from the ironing surface itself. Customers on Amazon have noted the board’s wide surface area for ironing, and have also stated it is fairly heavy. One thing to note, as reviewers have, is that the iron does require a good bit of space for storing even when folded. This model weighs in a eighteen pounds and measures eighteen by forty-nine inches.

Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few reviews from owners of the Rowenta Precision Ironing Board.
I love this Rowenta ironing board! After ordering it on Amazon, it came within a week in perfect condition. The first great thing I saw was the amount of quality metal construction under the board with the metal groves to adjust the height. My ironing boards in the past have been light weight, end caps come off, the lever to collapse the board to close would not work many times…very frustrating. The Rowenta construction is awesome and will be my “lifetime” board!
The second best feature is the length and width of it. One can place 1/2 a T-shirt, whole place mat, entire long pant leg on top with a lot of room left, faster ironing time. It will be good for pressing curtains and valances, also. It has an iron holder that I don’t use since the instructions weren’t too detailed and am uncomfortable resting my hot iron on it. I really don’t need the holder since the board itself is so LARGE, looks like a surfboard!
